Beschreibung:

HSG alumni Andreas Nef (Team Atlantx) and Julian Müller (Team 44 West) beam you onto their 8.5-metre ocean-rowing shells: 1.5 million strokes, night shifts on a relentless 24/7 two-hour rotation, and the Atlantic itself as their sparring partner until they land in Antigua in the Caribbean. What happens when the “extra mile” suddenly stretches to 4 800 km of open water? How does constant adversity forge team dynamics, decision-making and impact-driven thinking? Discover how HSG values such as leadership, the extra mile and meaningful impact, leap from lecture-hall theory to white-capped reality, and why true leadership begins where the campus ends.

Julian will embark on his transatlantic row in December 2025, braving 1.5 million strokes, relentless waves, and two-hour night shifts in a four-person crew. Andreas, gearing up for the same challenge in 2026, shares what it means to prepare for the unknown — mentally, physically, and as a team.
